Refund & Resend Policy

At DEDE, every piece is handcrafted with care and ships directly to you from our studio. Please read our policy carefully before purchasing.

What We Cover

We stand behind the quality of every piece we send. If your item arrives with a manufacturing defect or quality issue — including broken clasps, missing stones, significant plating defects, or items damaged in transit — we will resend a replacement at no cost to you.

You do not need to return the original item. Simply contact us and we'll take care of it.

How to Make a Quality Claim

1. Email us at hello.dede.story@gmail.com within 30 days of receiving your order.

2. Include your order number and 2–3 clear photos showing the issue.

3. Once we confirm the defect, a replacement will be dispatched within 2–3 business days.

Claims submitted after 30 days of delivery cannot be accepted. Please inspect your order upon arrival.

What We Do Not Cover

Because each piece is made to order and handled with care before dispatch, we are unable to offer refunds or resends for the following:

  • Change of mind or personal preference
  • Incorrect size selected at checkout (please refer to our size guide)
  • General wear and tear over time
  • Damage caused by improper care (exposure to perfume, chemicals, water activities beyond normal wear — see our Jewellery Care Guide)
  • Items that have been worn, altered, or resized by a third party
  • No Return Required

We do not require you to return items for quality claims. This means less hassle for you, and we can get your replacement out faster.

Non-Refundable Items

  • Bespoke / custom-made pieces (these are made specifically for you and cannot be restocked)
  • Items purchased during final sale promotions

Shipping on Replacements

All approved replacement items are shipped free of charge, worldwide.
